Katey is a London based nutritionist, with a BSc (Hons) degree in Nutrition. She is a professional Nutritionist, registered with the Nutrition Society.
Katey's interest in Nutrition developed from her sporting background.
Playing sports at a highly competitive level from a young age, including basketball (N. Ireland U18s), hockey and swimming helped create a strong association with eating and performance. This interest developed into a passion, studying the subject of Nutrition at university.
Katey uses her knowledge on a daily basis with her own lifestyle, especially now as an adult triathlete. She is also currently studying her Personal Training certification, to benefit her clients in training as well as nutrition.
This interest in sport and healthy eating has also enabled her to work with national and international level athletes, including having been a staff for the London Harlequins professional rugby team.
Outside of the sports arena, a special interest in weight management helping clients to shed unwanted pounds to develop a leaner physique has enabled her to provide a unique nutrition and wellness service.
Additional experiences and services include journalism, having written for ‘The Journal’ in Newcastle, and contributed to the Pacific Nations Rugby team website.
